This privacy policy applies to the Split-it app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created as an open-source or commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages

The Application gathers this information to provide the core functionality of tracking expenses, synchronizing data across devices, and improving the user experience.

User Provided Data

When you register for an account using Firebase Authentication (including Google Sign-In), we may collect your email address, name, and profile picture to create and manage your account. The Application also stores your expense data, groups, and transaction history using Firebase Firestore to synchronize this data across your devices and with your group members.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the developer improve the Application and their service. The developer may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The developer will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact the developer, and they will respond in a reasonable time.

The developer is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The developer provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the developer processes and maintains.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The developer will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.
